As a Christian, I am an avid supporter of Israel as a nation. I am glad to know your stand on Israel and it may well be the reason I vote for you. Thank you for your consideration of this urgently important issue.

I'm glad to read your comment in opposition to increased subsidies for nuclear power. I hope your dim view of other alternative energy sources will change as the facts about them become more clear. You say, "...Wind, solar, geothermal, hydroelectric all show great promise for the distant future." In fact, these energy sources are in use right now -- and most of our new electric power today is coming from wind energy.

Please stay focused on the true costs of our energy sources -- including the 'external' costs attributable to environmental protection, health effects, and so on. With the support of smart people in Congress, our nation is capable of building a safe, clean, sustainable power system for the 21st century.

Keep up the good work. The Scripture is the beginning to the end. We need the truth and nothing but the truth. Jesus said , I am the truth, the way and the life.

Wow.. maybe you need to realize the Bible is not a historical document, but rather a religious document. There is a distinct difference.

Mr. Lankford,
I'm not voting in your district, but you will be representing not only your district, but this state so I do have a thought I would like to put forward.

National Security is only second to the economy at the moment, and in all honesty should always be one of this countries top priorities. My concern is that we are playing catch up with the threats that we face. We are not in the same time as Ronald Reagan. As much as I admired Reagan, we have to ask ourselves if we can stay in that frame of mind. Why do we have bases overseas? Why are we the Global Police? Is this really promoting national security? Our borders are open wide, and we are currently fighting in a region that was a major contributor to the financial decline of the Soviet Union in the '80's (Afghanistan). I want our soliders to succeed, my brother is currently in Kandahar, but we are fighting a "movement" not a "State" our mind set has to change. When I read your statement I hear the same thing I've heard for years. This is the epitome of the "Status Quo". We have to seriously ask why we are spread out around the globe? How is this making our country secure? Our founders had a very clear vision of our place in the world, and how we would interact with our global neighbors, and where we are is not it. While I'll admit that we have to look at how we implement that vision in the twenty-first century, I do believe that is where we should start.

Just a thought,

Thank you,

Kelly

Although I fundamentally support both Lankford and Calvey on conservative beliefs I feel strongly sending fresh faces to DC is mandatory! I do not know Lankford personally but I'm hearing everything positive about him and Calvey I have met many times and watched him close in the state house. Calvey is a solid conservative with a strong backbone but I just can't get past the fact he's a career politician and spent his life building a resume` for the sole purpose of advancing his political career. I'm voting Lankford in the primary but would gladly support either in the general election.

Excuse me, but Mr. Lankford's position on Israel is absolutely correct. Having been to Israel mutliple times and having lived there an accumulated five years, I can personally testify to the TRUTH of what is happening in Israel. There is no such thing as Palestine - that so-called country is called Jordan - and the so-called Palestinians should go home to Jordan. Israel is the sole inheritor of the Land of Israel, and has all rights and claims to her. Any other peoples claming heritage to that land are off base and totally not a real student of the Bible. So sorry, but Historians are quickly trying to re-write history - I wonder why...As for me and my family, we'll go with the biblical history as that is the one that counts. We all need to remember Genesis 12:3 - America is in so much trouble today because we've been turning our back on Israel and forcing her - at British persuasion - to give up land to the so-called Palestinians ... Go back to your history books - quickly, before they are completely re-written - and study them. Compare them with the Bible - then if you are a rational person, you'll see where truth really is - it is with Israel.

I am voting for James Lankford because I agree with his stance on the pertinent issues, know he is a strong Christian conservative and will be the best person to send to Washington as our next Congressman. I am encouraging all
of my friends & family to vote for James on my Facebook page as well as actively campaigning in my community.

I don't agree with your position on Israel. Israel has twharted the peace process many times and continues to illegally blockade Palastine. They are often the agressor, not the defender and continue to build settlements in occupied land. They too are religious zealots as are the Muslim extremists you condemn.
Historians disagree with your interpretation of the Biblical story of the Jews. Some say the "Promised Land" described in the bible is more similar to an area of Saudia Arabia than Palastine.
Jerusalem is considered a Holy city by Christians, Jews & Muslims.
